For the last paragraphs of the article: Passion pays for Danielson with Utah victory

Well written and insightful into the mind of a bike racer, Pat Malach of Cycling News wrote a good one today after the completion of the Tour of Utah.

Tom Danielson had a miserable Tour de France last July, mumbling about wanting to return to being a GC contender, feeling out of place as a domestique. The amazing thing about this story is that Danielson was not all hope and talk and inflated ego. He went home, dug deep, refocused his motivation and competed; working with and then leading his team Garmin-Sharp to take the win at Tour of Utah last week.
