Tour Travel - Tour de France Rest Day #2

Tour Travel - Resting in Vaucluse, France

Today is a rest day. It was needed; not only does Peter Sagan look tired, but so too do a number of other riders. We have 1-week remaining in the 2013 Tour de France and the riders must race themselves into and over the Alps and on into Paris. So far the race has been excellent entertainment, I look forward to week three.

Today the Tour and its huge entourage is resting in the beautiful peaceful Vaucluse area north of Provence, near Mont Ventoux. Please read the Stage 14 Tour Travel report for some travel tips and ride reports from the region - ya know, to plan for your next trip to Ventoux!

Jack Denny
I have not yet written about the Stage 15 finish, I hope you have all seen the stage coverage by now. I was derailed with a pet emergency and numerous visits to the ER and Vet for my dear 87 pound Labradoodle dog named Jack Denny. He is stable, but I will post again when possible. Thanks for understanding. I will be back, so will Jack.

For now please enjoy this recent Photo Album from June 2013 trip to Vaucluse, Provence, and Languedoc regions of France.

Over a week ago Pedal Dancer® was again approved as Media to cover the USA Pro Challenge in Colorado. I will be there to bring you news and photos! Richie Porte says he will be there, so too may some of his prominent teammates, as well as teams Cannondale, Argos-Shimano, BMC, Garmin, Saxo-Tinkoff, RadioShack-Trek, and a great list of Pro Conti teams. I had such a great time covering the AMGEN TOUR OF CALIFORNIA last May.

Thanks for following along with Pedal Dancer® at the races.

SKY Pro Cycling team's motivational poem:
This is the line
The line between winning and losing
Between failure and success
Between good and great
Between dreaming and believing
Between convention and innovation
Between head and heart
It's a fine line
It challenges everything we do
And we ride it every day
