Tour Travel - Tour de France after Stage 6

Stage 6 Results and Stage 7 Race Day Planning

Sprint Finish! Another glorious fight for a line but this time a different winner. André Greipel took the lead today and teh yellow jersey changed hands again, making the already thrilled team Orica-GreenEDGE even that much happier, if possible, and proved that Simon Gerrans is a true gentleman.

TRAVEL

But before we leave Provence (until Stage 15) here is a special Pedal Dancer post today:  Travel to Provence, France.  A post about the recommended villages and cities for your next trip to Provence and a word on those pesky Mistrals

Stage 7 Race Day Plans

We are going to Albi tomorrow, very cool city, I visited in 2010 after a trip to the Ariege and before dipping down to Girona, Spain. Not too touristy even though it is the location of the Toulouse Lautrec museum. A city where I imagine it would be quite nice to live.
Traveling from the Hérault department to the Tarn department in France
Stage 7
Friday, July 5th Montpellier > Albi
Now this profile is looking more similar to a typical TDF mid-week stage with 4 climbs on the books tomorrow.
Expect a very fast downhill finish straight up the Avenue Albert Thomas just north of the center of Albi.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY from Denver, Colorado!!

My local park is one of the very popular places in Denver to gather for BBQ picnics and games on the 4th of July. Washington Park was full of activity today. Photos I took today in the park:
