The King is in town

There is no better reading for a cycling travel blog writer (moi) than to read a blog post by a professional cyclist traveling to Colorado to ride a bike. Perfect. The cyclist happens to be Ted King, better known as the American guy who rides on an Italian pro team (Liquigas-Cannondale), who tries hard to have his humor understood in several languages.

Ted King (the Ted King, depending on who you are talking to) is in Aspen, Colorado, riding his shaven legs healed clavicle east coast self all over our mountains. He has been scouting (recon, reci) the upcoming stages of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, riding the roads around Aspen and Crested Butte, Colorado. Eating our local food and breathing our local lack of O2 air. Read on and enjoy.

1 photo = 1,000 words, right? Ergo, this entry = 23,000 words (yes that is the title of his blog post, nothing is very simple for the I am Ted King). Definitely worth checking out, if only to see the Secret Stash Pizza they ate in Crested Butte. The license plate art is a feature at the well-known Camp 4 Coffee shop, also definitely worth a visit.
